Revitalist is excited to be partnering with the Community Change Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 dedicated to providing access to mental health services for low-income and underserved communities. This partnership showcases our organization’s drive to change how we address and deliver mental health care to Americans critically in need of specialized services and solutions.
Revitalist and Community Change Foundation have launched the UN*IT campaign with that in mind. This unique outreach program is designed to help two pillars of our national family find the support and mental healthcare they need. Veterans and first responders make inordinate sacrifices on behalf of all of us, yet they are also some of the most underserved individuals when it comes to mental health. UN*IT is meant to change that.
The UN*IT campaign symbolizes the Revitalist’s and the Community Change Foundation’s dedication to connecting veterans and first responders needing specialized mental health solutions with qualified, compassionate medical providers.
As a community, Veterans and First Responders face unique mental health challenges. Both groups are significantly more likely to develop severe conditions like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, and anxiety. Veterans are also 50% more likely than their civilian counterparts to have suicidal thoughts or attempt suicide. Revitalist and the Community Change Foundation want to change this. To do so, we partnered with each other to create the UN*IT campaign. The campaign will fund critically needed mental healthcare for these two communities who have sacrificed so much on behalf of our nation.
If you’d like to be a part of the campaign, you can get involved by simply purchasing one of the t-shirts or polos created for the campaign. Proceeds from the sale of this merchandise will go towards funding advocacy, support groups, and mental health services for veterans and first responders.
